What is a "Continuous Section" when outlining?

In a task you may be asked to outline and label one "continuous section" of vegetation, buildings or other objects.

A continuous section can be completed with one single outline. The section may contain multiple objects, but the objects are not completely separated by space or other objects.

Here is an example of an image with continuously outlined sections of vegetation

A streetlight pole separates the two trees on the right from the trees on the left. There are more than two trees in the image, but they can be grouped in two outlines.
