Why was my account locked due to excessive sign-in attempts?
We locked your account as a security measure. Everything is probably fine, but we want to make sure.
If we detect multiple failed attempts to log into your Spare5 account, you may receive an email from Spare5 with the message "Your account has been locked due to an excessive number of unsuccessful sign in attempts."
As part of our security measures, when there are multiple failed attempts, the account is locked and you are emailed with instructions regarding unlocking your account. That is why you received several emails from Spare5.
If you did not make these attempts to log into your Spare5 account, we first recommend that you confirm you are using a strong and unique password.
